Description

Embark on one of Cusco’s most popular excursions with our Tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, an experience that combines history, culture, archaeology, and some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the Peruvian Andes.

The adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel, and we’ll head to the Taray Viewpoint, a spectacular vantage point from which you can admire the majestic Sacred Valley, surrounded by mountains, agricultural terraces, and the Urubamba River.

Our next stop will be the archaeological complex at Pisaq, known for its impressive agricultural terraces, temples, Inca cemeteries, and a spectacular view of the valley. This archaeological site demonstrates the Incas’ advanced knowledge of agriculture and engineering.

We will continue on to Urubamba, considered the heart of the Sacred Valley, where you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring a wide variety of traditional Peruvian dishes.

After lunch, we’ll visit Ollantaytambo, one of the last inhabited Inca towns that has preserved its original urban layout intact. Here, you’ll explore its impressive fortress and enormous stone terraces, and learn about its strategic importance during the Inca Empire.

Before returning to Cusco, we’ll visit the Chinchero Textile Interpretation Center, where you’ll learn about the traditional techniques used by Andean communities to create textiles from natural fibers and dyes derived from plants, minerals, and insects. You’ll also have the opportunity to admire beautiful handicrafts made by skilled local artisans.

Throughout the tour, you'll be accompanied by a professional guide who will share the history, traditions, and interesting facts about each place, making this trip an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is a must-see for anyone who wants to explore the cultural and archaeological riches of Cusco before visiting Machu Picchu or simply enjoy one of Peru's most beautiful landscapes.
