Description
This tour takes you to discover one of Peru's most breathtaking natural destinations: the Colca Canyon. Departing from the city of Arequipa very early in the morning, we’ll travel through the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, home to vicuñas, alpacas, and unique high-Andean landscapes.
We'll arrive in Chivay for a traditional breakfast and then continue on to the Cruz del Cóndor Lookout, a prime spot for watching Andean condors in flight in their natural habitat above one of the deepest canyons on the planet.
On the way back, we’ll make stops at natural viewpoints such as Antahuilque and Choquetico, where you can see pre-Inca agricultural terraces and stunning geological formations. Finally, we’ll return to Arequipa, passing by the Mirador de los Volcanes in Patapampa, which offers views of El Misti, Chachani, and Ampato.
